Audits and Inspections

Audits review the systems and activities to ensure they are compliant with legislative requirements and in line with industry best practice and employees are following them correctly.  Many sites employ Blastcon Australia to conduct compliance audits and site inspections to ensure legislative requirements are being adhered to prior to visits from the relevant Inspectors.

Many clients have also requested on-bench practice audits to ensure blast crews are not only conducting activities safely but are also following legislative requirements and site procedures.

Typical inspections include magazine storage facilities and explosives equipment including blast vehicles, MPU and reload facilities.

Section 95 of the Qld Explosives Regulations requires an Inspection of the Explosives storage facilities every 3 months.
